Deadlines and how to apply

Undergraduate programmes 

Applications are held on our online platform, according to the following phases:

1st phase

Applications -  09 January to 15 February

Analysis of applications - 31 January to 01 March

Publication of results - 02 March *

Enrollment - 02 March to 31 March

2nd phase

Applications - 16 February to 31 March

Analysis of applications - 01 April to 15 April

Publication of results - 16 April *

Enrollment - 16 April to 31 May

3rd phase

Applications - 01 April to 30 May

Analysis of applications - 01 June to 15 June 

Publication of results - 16 June *

Enrollment - 16 June to 31 July

4th phase

Applications - 01 June to 15 July

Analysis of applications - 01 July to 20 July

Publication of results - 20 July *

Enrollment - 21 July to 31 July

* The claims can be submitted within 5 working days from the date of publication of the results. Enrollment for the accepted complaints occur within 2 working days after the decision. 


When filling in your application you will need to upload the following documents:

• Identity card;
• Passport;
• Resident card in Portugal (if you have one);
• Qualifications Diploma;
• Document proving level of language proficiency in the language the course will be taught in;
• Declaration of Honour (available onto the candidacies platform);
• University frequency in other countries (if applicable).

At the end of the application process, you’ll be asked to pay the application fee.

Please be aware that you might need a VISA to come to Portugal which may take some time to get. Should this be the case you can start attending classes no later than 15th October.

Selection process

Foreign candidates applying to undergraduate programmes are selected and ranked according to statutory guidelines (Article 4, Regulation n.º 258/2014, DL 120, of 25.06.2014).
